What You’ll Be Doing

Assessment & Diagnosis: Independently assess clients with a variety of conditions, including developmental delays, physical impairments, injuries, and chronic conditions.

Treatment Planning: Develop individualised treatment plans focused on improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall function for each client.

Collaboration with Families and Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes. We have strong connections with larger multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Assistive Technology & Equipment Prescription: Conduct assessments and provide recommendations and reports for mobility aids, equipment, and assistive technology as required.

Clinic & Community Outreach: Deliver therapy in various settings, including clinic, home, school, hydrotherapy pool, and community centres, tailoring care to meet the unique needs of each client.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution with full AHPRA registration.

Experience working within the NDIS is preferred; however, physiotherapists with a strong interest and willingness to grow in paediatrics/disability are encouraged to apply. New graduates welcome.

Excellent clinical reasoning and strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and families.

A collaborative team player comfortable working within a multidisciplinary environment.

Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for community visits.

Availability to work after-school hours and Saturday.
