Your Auto Service in Jandakot, WA is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanic to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring our customers receive top-notch service and get back on the road with confidence.

Key responsibilities

Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections, diagnostics and repairs to address a variety of mechanical issues

Carry out scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs and ac repairs

Liaise with customers to understand their concerns and provide clear explanations of recommended repairs

Order and manage parts inventory to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of work

Train and mentor junior mechanics to develop their skills and expertise

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work completed

Ensure a safe and organised workshop environment

What we're looking for

Minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified mechanic in the automotive industry

Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle systems and components, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues

Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a team and mentor junior staff

Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification
