The Opportunity:
- Full-Time | Ongoing contract of employment.
- PW8 $104,883 - $114,252 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
- Moorabbin Campus – onsite parking with close proximity to public transport.
The Faculty Placement and Partnerships Strategic Manager provides senior leadership in driving the strategic direction and operational delivery of student work placements across a diverse portfolio of health, community, and social programs. The role oversees the development of high-impact partnerships with industry and community organisations to enhance student employability and workforce readiness.
You will lead and support a team of placement officers and clinical facilitators, ensuring alignment with faculty priorities and the successful execution of large-scale placement initiatives. The position also plays a key role in quality assurance, compliance oversight, and continuous improvement of placement processes and stakeholder engagement.
As a Faculty Placement and Partnerships Strategic Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage strategic partnerships with health, disability, aged care, and community providers.
- Oversee the coordination and allocation of student placements across multiple programs.
- Provide leadership and support to placement officers and clinical facilitators.
- Ensure all placement sites meet compliance, risk, and quality assurance requirements.
- Collaborate with academic leaders to align placement programs with curriculum and accreditation standards.
- Monitor and report on placement performance metrics and contribute to continuous improvem
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Proven experience in strategic partnership development within the health or community sectors.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on collaboration and accountability.
- Extensive experience coordinating student or clinical placements, including compliance management.
- Sound understanding of quality assurance frameworks in vocational or higher education.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in nursing (or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience), plus a valid driver’s licence.
- WWCC and Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
