We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at PVR Mechanical . In this role, you will work closely with the workshop manager. You will have all the support you require to succeed, including plenty of existing work. We do a lot more than simple servicing so the ideal candidate will be keen to get involved in detailed mechanical work, driveline and transmission work and other general mechanical repairs. You will possess exceptional problem-solving skills. You will work in a fast-paced environment and not be afraid of taking on responsibility. A minimum of 3-4 years of automotive mechanic experience is required for this position.

Applicants must hold a recognised trade qualification in automotive mechanics.

Valid Australian work rights are required, including citizens, permanent residents, or holders of appropriate work visas.

The role will include:

Perform Maintenance & Repairs: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical issues on a range of vehicles in addition to standard servicing.

Inspections & Diagnostics: Conduct detailed inspections, utilising diagnostic tools to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.

Documentation: Accurately document all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used in jobs.

Safety Compliance: Follow and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Inventory & Parts Management: Assist in managing parts inventory, ordering as necessary, and maintaining tools and equipment in optimal condition.
