Ginger Sport & Quest Football Academy are looking for casual football/soccer coaches who are ready to make a difference in the lives of children across Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Toowoomba, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Logan, Redlands, and surrounding suburbs.
We’re also looking for a coach on the Sunshine Coast available Monday to Friday between 7:00am–12:30pm and 12:30pm–6:00pm. You won’t work the entire time, shifts are typically 2–3 hours in the morning and 2–3 hours in the afternoon.

About the Role
Deliver fun, energetic, and age-appropriate soccer sessions across a variety of locations
Casual shifts are offered depending on your availability, the more availability you have, the more work we can give you
Shifts run between 7:00am - 6:00pm, weekdays and some weekends (depending on the region)
A shift availability window is typically scheduled as either a morning shift (7:00am-12:30pm) or an afternoon shift (12:30pm-6:00pm). However, actual shift lengths and start/end times may vary depending on session bookings, location, and operational needs. Some shifts may be shorter or longer, and occasionally you may be required to work across both time blocks.
Pay & Conditions
$33.38 - $34.88 per hour
Superannuation, allowances, and entitlements paid in addition to the base rate
Casual roles only, but shifts are ongoing based on your commitment
What You’ll Need
A valid Queensland Driver's Licence and regular access to a vehicle
A current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain one)
A mobile phone with internet access
Prior experience working with children (in coaching or similar roles) is highly regarded
A vibrant, energetic personality and love of working with kids is essential

About Ginger Sport
How we started
Ginger Sport began humbly in 2009 with a bag of soccer balls, a handful of happy, smiling kids, and a coach with a passion for his beloved game of English ‘football’. That coach—Ben Hutchinson—is still the striker behind Ginger Sport.
Our team
We have a great team of play makers who coach thousands of kids at hundreds of venues across South East Queensland.
Our team is made up of delivery and administration staff. Our delivery team consists of around 40 enthusiastic coaching staff. We also have our very own admin midfielders who provide support for everything we do to keep things running smoothly.
Fun & skills
It’s not all about bending it like Beckham at Ginger Sport. It’s also about providing a fun, inclusive, and play-based learning environment. We believe this will lay the foundation for a happy and healthy life for our precious kids.

Soccer is a great sport for little kids to start out with, because it works on their gross motor skills. In addition to the physical benefits, kids learn a wide range of skills, including how to work in a team and how to solve problems.
