About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable entry level Laboratory Technicians to work in our Seven Hills Laboratory. This would suit school leavers or those looking for a career change who are willing to study whilst working full time.
The role entails heavy lifting of soil repetitively over your 8-hour shift in a dusty and very physically demanding environment.
You will perform a variety of tasks ranging from performing soil sample preparation, daily laboratory compaction testing, data entry, to assisting with the maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Comprehensive on-the-job training is provided, and successful applicants will have the opportunity to undertake a nationally recognised Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques as part of their role, supported through our Alliance Learning Centre.
To be eligible for the Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques you cannot be currently studying another qualification including any type of Degree.
