About the Role

You’ll join a supportive accounting team managing a diverse portfolio of clients — from family-owned businesses and start-ups to more complex entities and SMSFs.
Each day offers a mix of hands-on accounting, client interaction, and advisory support, allowing you to genuinely make an impact — not just push paper.

You’ll work with modern cloud systems, including Xero and XPM, alongside efficient workflow and document management platforms.
Technology is leveraged to streamline compliance, giving you the space to focus on meaningful client work and delivering exceptional outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Preparing and reviewing financial statements, BAS, IAS, and tax returns

Managing client workflows through XPM and FYI Docs

Supporting clients with cash flow, business performance, and advisory insights

Assisting with SMSF accounting and compliance (experience highly regarded)

Identifying ways to improve processes and client outcomes

Collaborating with colleagues and mentoring junior team members

This role suits someone who takes initiative — who values precision, accountability, and genuine client connection.

About You

Minimum 3 years’ experience in public practice accounting

Strong working knowledge of Xero (XPM, Workpapers, etc.)

SMSF experience highly regarded

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

A proactive mindset and commitment to long-term career growth

Positive, team-focused attitude and strong communication skills
