We are currently seeking a Truck Driver / Yards Person to assist in helping keep our workshop and yard neat and tidy, transporting machinery and supplies to site, as well as assisting to keep our machines and equipment in good working order.

The Position would suit a person who is pro-active who enjoys a variety of tasks. Our ideal candidate will be able to show initiative, have a mechanical aptitude, experienced truck driver and be willing to help in all areas of our workshop.

This is a full-time position, Mon to Friday (some weekend work available from time to time). Pay rate will start between $37.00 and $42.00 per hour depending on your experience / licences.

We are after a driven and keen team member who can:

Take responsibility to assist with maintenance and cleanliness of the workshop and yard

Preparing equipment for upcoming projects and to transport to sites

Assist in maintaining and keeping our plant and equipment clean and tidy

Deliver and collect parts and machinery as required

Perform pre-starts on machines and vehicles

Enjoy working in a small team and bouncing from task to task

Load and unload materials – forklift ticket an advantage

Assist our boilermakers and site teams as required

Our Preferred applicant must have the following: -

HR or MC Licence (essential)

White Card

Forklift Ticket

Plant tickets an advantage for moving machinery.

Able to work unsupervised.

Have a strong work ethic.

Pride in workmanship

Previous broad range of experience
