SmartCare is opening a brand new, purpose-built urgent care and diagnostics facility at the Mater Health Hub, Springfield Central. We are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced and motivated Radiographers to join our team, ready for opening in Jan 2026.

This dynamic role will provide high-quality CT and X-ray imaging for urgent care presentations and outpatient referrals, while supporting SmartCare Diagnostics’ cardiac imaging services including CT Coronary Angiography (CTCA). You’ll work closely with our Emergency Specialists, Cardiologists, and Radiologists as part of a collaborative, patient-centred team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT and X-ray examinations for urgent care and outpatient patients.

Deliver safe, accurate, and patient-centred imaging in accordance with protocols and radiation safety standards.

Collaborate with medical, nursing, and specialist teams to support timely and accurate diagnosis.

Contribute to cardiac imaging including CTCA and other advanced diagnostic studies.

Maintain equipment, manage quality control, and support accreditation and compliance processes.

Promote SmartCare’s values of clinical excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

About You

Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner.

Current or eligible for a QLD Radiation Use Licence.

Experience in CT and X-ray (cardiac imaging experience highly regarded).

Passion for providing excellent patient care with a professional, compassionate approach.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well under pressure.

High attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and confidentiality.

Team player with a positive, collaborative attitude.
