About the Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in helping people with disability live independently and achieve their NDIS goals. You’ll provide person-centred support both at home and in the community, empowering individuals to build skills, confidence, and meaningful connections.
Your day may include:
- Supporting daily living activities such as personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation.
- Assisting individuals to develop skills in budgeting, social interaction, and self-care.
- Encouraging community engagement through social activities and outings.
- Helping people maintain strong connections with family, friends, and services.
- Providing compassionate and respectful support tailored to each individual’s needs.
Shift work is required, including nights, sleepovers, and weekends.
About You
You are a caring, resilient, and motivated individual who is passionate about making a difference. You bring a person-centred approach to your work and thrive on helping others achieve their goals.
You will have:
- Genuine empathy and dedication to supporting people with disability.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical capacity to undertake manual handling tasks.
- Commitment to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
- A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) – highly regarded but not essential.
- Experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours – desirable.
- Prior experience supporting individuals with dementia is an asset but not mandatory

Please note, before commencing with Endeavour Foundation, you will be required to undertake a “Fit2Work” National Criminal History Check, hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check/Yellow Card and a First Aid and CPR certificate
