Our client is a leading national organisation delivering essential infrastructure solutions across the power, utilities, and telecommunications sectors. With ongoing growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking for an experienced Tax Accountant to join their team.

The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key part in ensuring accurate reporting and compliance across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and reviewing monthly and quarterly tax and statutory returns (BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax)
• Coordinating with external tax and accounting advisers for year-end and international reporting
• Managing state and federal lodgements including TPAR, ABS, and Workers Compensation
• Maintaining financial guarantee documentation and supporting renewals
• Providing insights to support tax planning and continuous improvement initiatives
• Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc reporting and analysis

About You

• Degree qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
• CA or CPA qualified (or currently completing)
• 3-5 years' experience in a similar accounting or tax role
• Strong understanding of Australian compliance and reporting requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
