The Opportunity

We're seeking a full-time Business Services Manager to work closely with the firm's Partners and play a pivotal role in driving their next phase of growth. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll have direct impact on client outcomes, team development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax planning, compliance, and business strategy

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team across Australian and Philippines operations

Technical Delivery: Deliver high-quality accounting, taxation, and advisory services including financial statement preparation and tax return compliance

Workflow Management: Oversee portfolio management, ensuring efficient workflows and consistent service delivery in line with firm standards

Strategic Advisory: Engage in consultancy projects that add genuine value to clients' businesses, providing strategic insights and practical recommendations

Quality Assurance: Review team deliverables to maintain high-quality standards and professional service delivery

About You

Professional Qualification: CPA or CA qualified

Technical Excellence: Strong technical accounting knowledge with demonstrated problem-solving capabilities

Experience: Minimum 3+ years in public practice, ideally with mid-tier or boutique firm experience

Leadership: Proven experience managing and developing teams, including virtual/offshore resources

Client Focus: Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a client-first mindset

Technology Proficiency: Advanced skills in Xero and Microsoft Office suite

Experience in business advisory and strategic consulting

Track record of managing diverse client portfolios

Strong organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities

Commercial acumen and a solutions-oriented approach
