Secure-ISS Level 1 - Service Delivery Engineer

This position based on the Gold Coast and reporting to the Technical Operations Team Leader, is a Level 1 engineering and service desk position within the Service Delivery team.

You must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.

THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION and would be suitable for recent graduates.

Day to day Duties and Responsibilities include:

First point of call to a diverse array of clients, either via telephone or email;

Supporting of our customer base in their installation and use of our services offering;

Resolve technical issues to the best of your ability and escalate where necessary;

Log all customer requests into service management system;

Assist in Systems Administration activities;

Develop internal knowledge base articles;

Assist in the development of support processes and reports;

Participate in on the job training and grow your technical expertise.

The position will provide the successful applicant with exposure to the following technologies:

Windows Server Operating Systems;

Enterprise Linux Operating Systems;

Virtual Server Infrastructure (Hyper-V; VMware, etc);

MS SQL database infrastructure;

Application development;

M365 and Azure SaaS and IaaS

Cisco and Palo technologies

Support and monitoring tools

PHP, Cpanel and MySQL

Cyber Security Solutions; and

Other Emerging Cloud computing and AI technologies;

Qualifications
Although the position requires no formal qualifications, applicants with the following qualifications may be preferred:

Degree in Information Technology preferable but not essential;

Microsoft Certifications (or equivalent) preferable but not essential;
