An exciting opportunity exists for an Exercise Physiologist - Senior! Join our Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Health team delivering culturally safe, holistic care, education and strong community partnerships for better health outcomes.

Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Deliver independent high level exercise physiology clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
• Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
• Demonstrate a practical understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander inequities, and health issues to deliver informed, evidence based culturally appropriate care.
• Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced exercise physiology practitioners and students as delegated.

Remuneration value up to $157,359 p.a., comprising salary between $128,169 - $137,918 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
