Ability Assist is hiring multiple casual Youth Residential Support Workers in Melbourne's southern suburbs, focusing on individuals with complex needs. The role involves supporting young people in their homes and communities, promoting independence and well-being. Key Responsibilities:

Provide support and engagement to young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours.

Assist young people in developing independence and improving their quality of life.

Encourage participation in activities based on their interests and goals.

Ensure the safety and well-being of young people.

Attend to domestic duties, including meal preparation and cleaning and personal care.

Transport clients to activities and services.

Attend team meetings.

Requirements:

Flexibility to work various shifts across a 24/7 period, 7 days a week.

Experience working with young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours.

Experience working with young people with disabilities is desirable.

Must meet all relevant legislative requirements to work in our industry.
