About the role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Point of Sale Team Member to join our dynamic team at Plateau Landscape Supplies in Alstonville, NSW. As a casual team member, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring efficient transactions at our retail outlet. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the retail industry and be a part of a growing, community-driven business.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner

Operating the point-of-sale system to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently

Answering customer inquiries and providing information about our products and services

Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the retail space, including the outdoors area

Restocking and replenishing product displays as needed.

Assisting with loading customer vehicles, some manual handling will be required

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in a similar industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour

Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with a strong attention to detail

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
