About the role

Are you an experienced Rigger looking for an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of rigging and crane services in Perth, WA? WA Universal Rigging and Cranes is seeking Riggers skilled in Structural Steel and precast / tilt up panel installation to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position based in Perth, WA 6000.

What you'll be doing

Safely sling, lift and install structural steel and precast concrete / tilt-up components with the ability to read and Interpret engineering / structural drawings.

Sling loads, dog cranes and operate lifting equipment in a controlled and safe manner.

Perform pre-use equipment checks and inspections, reporting any issues or concerns.

Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Rigger in the construction or heavy industry sectors.

Demonstrated experience in the rigging and installation of structural steel or precast concrete / tilt-up components.

Sound knowledge of the inspection and use of rigging equipment and lifting gear.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Current High Risk Work License (EWP, Dogging and Rigging).

Construction industry White Card.

Applicant is required to have permanent working rights.

Tilt-Up and Scissor lift ticket preferred but not essential.

Minimum 1-2 years of onsite construction experience required.

Experience in either rigging or structural steel is essential for this position.
