Assistant General Manager – New Gold Coast Venue Opening November 2025

We’re looking for a hands-on Assistant General Manager to help open and lead one of the Gold Coast’s most exciting new venues — a place where incredible food, drinks, and entertainment come together with genuine hospitality.

As 2iC to our experienced General Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in building a venue culture that thrives on teamwork, positivity, and exceptional service. This isn’t a desk job — it’s an on-the-floor leadership position where your presence, energy, and standards will set the tone for both our guests and team.

What We’re Looking For

Proven leadership experience in a busy food and beverage or entertainment venue

A natural motivator who leads by example and fosters a supportive, high-performing team culture

Passion for delivering elevated customer experiences in a casual, friendly environment

Strong understanding of service flow, floor operations, and team training

Ability to problem-solve, adapt quickly, and keep calm under pressure

Availability to work nights, weekends, and event days

What You’ll Do

Work directly alongside the General Manager to open and operate the venue

Drive a service-first culture that values approachability and attention to detail

Be hands-on across all areas of the business — from the floor to the bar

Support recruitment, training, and ongoing staff development

Ensure every guest leaves with a memorable experience worth talking about
