What you'll be doing
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you’ll provide high-quality clinical services across acute wards, cancer and haematology outpatients, and lymphoedema clinics. You’ll use advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice to support patients with complex needs while mentoring junior staff and contributing to service development.
Deliver advanced, person-centred assessment and intervention in inpatient and outpatient care
Provide expert Occupational Therapy services in oncology, palliative care, haematology, and lymphoedema
Lead clinical supervision, mentoring, and staff development across the OT team
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless and holistic patient care
Drive quality improvement, research, and professional growth in clinical service areas

Essential Criteria:
Qualification: Bachelor of Occupational Therapy accepted for registration with AHPRA
Registration: AHPRA Occupational Therapy
Selection Criteria:
Current Registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board, Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and Current Drivers licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
Advanced level of clinical knowledge and experience across a range of conditions, including training and experience in lymphoedema management.
Demonstrated high level skills in verbal, non-verbal and written communication in a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary context.
Demonstrated well developed clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills in an outpatient setting within a multidisciplinary team, with ability to provide clinical services to client groups of a complex nature requiring advanced practice skills.
Demonstrated experience and skill in staff and student supervision.
Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills in an environment of competing clinical / administrative demands.
Demonstrated ability to participate in service development, risk management and quality improvement initiatives
