About the role

Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care within the Child and Family Health Service (CaFHS). Support families and children through assessment, education and care planning, while developing professional capability and contributing to safe, evidence-based practice.

Key duties of the role

• Assess and plan care to meet the health needs of children and families
• Provide direct, person-centred nursing or midwifery care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners
• Contribute to quality improvement and safe clinical practice
• Support education and development for students and new staff

Skills and Experience

• Registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA as a Nurse or Midwife
• Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of practice
• Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Proven ability to deliver safe, high-quality, family-centred care
• Knowledge of healthcare legislation, ethics and quality systems
