About the role
Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care within the Child and Family Health Service (CaFHS). Support families and children through assessment, education and care planning, while developing professional capability and contributing to safe, evidence-based practice.
Key duties of the role
- Assess and plan care to meet the health needs of children and families
- Provide direct, person-centred nursing or midwifery care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners
- Contribute to quality improvement and safe clinical practice
- Support education and development for students and new staff
Skills and Experience
- Registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA as a Nurse or Midwife
- Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of practice
- Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Proven ability to deliver safe, high-quality, family-centred care
- Knowledge of healthcare legislation, ethics and quality systems
