About the role

Torquay Sports Medicine Centre is seeking a part-time OR full-time Physiotherapist to join our dedicated team in Torquay, Victoria. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in providing exceptional rehabilitation and treatment services to our diverse client base, from elite athletes to the local community.

What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and developing individualised treatment plans to address clients' specific needs

Delivering a range of physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription and programming, and the use of modalities such as shockwave therapy and dry needling

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as sports medicine doctors, osteopaths, myotherapists, podiatrists, and exercise physiologists, to provide holistic care

Educating clients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and the importance of maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle

Actively participating in the continuous improvement of our clinical services and procedures

What we're looking for

A tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Excellent clinical assessment and treatment skills, with a strong understanding of evidence-based physiotherapy practices

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development and a passion for providing high-quality patient-centred care

Excellent client rapport building and verbal communication skills

Full & unrestricted Australian work rights are essential
