We are seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary School Special Education Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis.

Essential skills:
- Applicants must hold a tertiary-level undergraduate or approved postgraduate teacher education qualification. Successful candidates will demonstrate strength in the following areas, aligned with national teaching standards:
- Curriculum planning and effective pedagogy
- Formative and summative assessment practices
- Positive classroom management strategies
- Communication and collaboration with colleagues, families and students
- Inclusive and culturally responsive teaching
- Reflective practice and commitment to ongoing professional learning

Required experience:
Across career stages, candidates should demonstrate at least 12 months of full-time experience in:
- Evidence of effective teaching practice
- Engagement in professional learning and collaboration
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners
- Documenting program objectives, collecting and analysing data of student outcomes - reporting to site leadership, parents/caregivers, services, and agencies.
