About the Role:
This is more than just a job, it's a chance to step into a leadership role where you can make a real impact. As the Assistant Store Manager, you'll be a key part of the store's leadership team, supporting the Store Manager in driving daily operations, team performance, and customer satisfaction.
You'll lead from the front, inspire your team, and ensure the store is always operating at its best, clean, safe, well-stocked, and delivering standout service.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in overseeing day-to-day store operations with a hands-on approach
* Coach, develop, and support team members to deliver exceptional customer service
* Monitor stock levels, support inventory management, and coordinate deliveries
* Maintain accurate POS transactions and uphold cash handling standards
* Respond to customer queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
* Contribute to creating effective staff rosters and managing shift coverage
* Ensure store presentation, cleanliness, and safety standards are consistently met
* Operate a variety of in-store equipment including fuel consoles, food prep areas, barista machines, and lottery terminals
* Uphold workplace health and safety protocols and company compliance requirements
* Step into store leadership when the Store Manager is unavailable, including admin and reporting tasks
* Foster a positive, motivated team culture through strong communication and a lead-by-example attitude
