Playing an integral role in the Engaged Communities team, the temporary full-time position for a Senior Communications and Engagement Advisor will provide expert advice to one of 4 directorates across Council. About the role
The Senior Communications and Engagement Advisor leads strategic communications across Manningham, partnering with business units to deliver clear, impactful advice. They develop and implement communication and engagement plans that promote Council services, programs and initiatives, ensuring we meet our goals, uphold our brand and connect meaningfully with our community and stakeholders.
Skills and experience
- Tertiary qualified in communications or other relevant field.
- An innovator with a track record of developing and delivering effective communications that encourage engagement with the community.
- A strategic thinker with an understanding o fthe diverse needs o fthe community, the localgovernment environment and ability to plan for delivery of high-quality outcomes.
- Aproblem solver, able to resolve issues to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
- A collaborator with demonstrated success in partnering with key stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Flexible to respond to changing priorities and able to complete tasks within tight timeframes.
