We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our team. We are offering full time and casual positions to have an immediate start. Must have your own reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

Take pride in the quality of workmanship

Ensure compliance with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, and all Occupational Health & Safety requirements met at all times

Maintain clean and organised work areas

Provide guidance and support to apprentices, when required

Be a team player and collaborate with other tradespeople and subcontractors on multiple projects

Skills

Proven experience as a qualified Painter within the building & construction industry

Proficient knowledge of painting techniques and methods

Capable of following instructions

Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently while working under pressure & to deadlines

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members

Be confident and diplomatic in resolving any issues that may arise

Pro-active and excellent time management skills - complete tasks in a timely and safe manner.

Eager and willing to learn and grow within the role and company

Be self-motivated, solution focused and have a positive attitude

Reliable, punctual, and have excellent work ethics

Physically fit and able to perform the physical requirements of the role

Comprehensive knowledge of painting methods

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have excellent painting skills, passionate about painting to a high standard of finish, and the ability to work independently, and as part of a team.

Trade qualification or relevant experience in Painting is essential

A minimum of 1 years painting experience

Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle

White Card (Construction Induction Card) essential

Ability to pass a Police Integrity Check

High Risk Work Licences (HRWL) - Working at heights, EWP, Scissor Lift, Boom Type, Confined Spaces are desirable

First Aid certificate (preferable)

Application

Salary is negotiable and dependent on level of skill and experience. The salary range is between $75,000 - $83,000.

This position provides a great opportunity to work with an established organisation offering challenging work.
