About the role
As the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Senior Health Worker, you will provide culturally safe, effective, and person-centred health services within the Kallangur Satellite Health Centre. You'll play a vital role in supporting individuals, families, and communities to improve health literacy, wellbeing, and access to care.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide cultural support and advocacy for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander patients and families.
• Support multidisciplinary teams to deliver culturally safe and responsive health services.
• Promote health education and preventative care across priority areas such as diabetes, kidney, and cardiovascular health.
• Collaborate with community and clinical stakeholders to strengthen care pathways and cultural capability.
• Lead quality improvement activities and contribute to better health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
