About the Role

We’re seeking a Casual Delivery Driver to join our friendly team, primarily based at our Mayfield branch, with opportunities to assist across our other Newcastle/Hunter locations when required.

This is a hands-on role with a mix of delivery driving and warehouse support. You’ll be responsible for:

Delivering goods to customers across the region in a safe and timely manner

Assisting with warehouse operations including picking, packing, and receipting stock

Operating a forklift (training provided if required)

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment

Working closely with the Branch Manager and team to ensure smooth daily operations

Hours

Casual position: Minimum 4-hour shifts

Availability: Between 6:30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, and/or 8am to 12pm on Saturdays

Flexible scheduling – we can work around family or study commitments, with the option of working just one or two days a week, with the potential for additional shifts as required based on your availability and our needs.

We’re after someone who enjoys being part of a team, takes pride in their work, and values great customer service.

You’ll ideally have:

A current manual driver’s licence (essential)

Good time management and communication skills

A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Basic computer skills

Knowledge of plumbing or building products (preferred but not essential)

A commitment to safe work practices
