About the Role

Our teachers play an integral role in delivering dynamic, innovative pedagogy that inspires and engages learners, promoting a positive culture of inclusiveness, personalisation and care. We are seeking a Secondary Engineering Teacher to join our College. This is a full-time role, on a permanent/ongoing contract, starting Term One 2026.

This is a hugely exciting opportunity to be instrumental in the implementation of General Engineering at Padua College. Teach in a recently completed, purpose built, state-of-the-art classrooms and be part of an innovative environment that inspires creativity, collaboration, and hands-on learning.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Promote the mission and ethos of the College through active classroom participation and by modelling appropriate standards of behaviour.
  • Maintain a positive and effective learning environment through well-prepared and varied lessons that cater to a range of student abilities and interests.
  • Set a challenging and realistic program of student homework.
  • Provide prompt and thorough feedback on student work submitted for marking and supervision.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor of Education or equivalent.
  • Current Queensland Teacher Registration.
  • Accreditation to teach in a Catholic School.
