The opportunity

As an Auto Electrician at LIQUIP SALES QLD PTY LTD', you will be responsible for providing high-quality electrical services and maintenance for a range of specialty automotive vehicles and equipment (fire appliances, Gas & Fuel Vehicles). This is a full-time position based in Pinkenba, QLD 4008.

Key responsibilities

Diagnose, repair and maintain electrical systems in various automotive vehicles and machinery

Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues using specialised tools and equipment

Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance

Keep accurate records of all work completed and parts used

Adhere to all relevant safety standards and regulations

Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures

You will mainly be required to work on specialised vehicles for the road transport industry:

Fire appliances,

Gas & Diesel rigid vehicles,

Service Vehicles.

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Automotive Electrical or a related field

Minimum 2 years' experience as an Auto Electrician, preferably in a similar role

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately

Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach

Commitment to safety and a willingness to learn
