Fabricator/Boilermaker

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fabricator/Boilermaker to join our team. This hands-on position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex fabrication projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Execute various fabrication and boilermaking tasks with precision and efficiency

Operate and program CNC machinery for metal cutting, bending, and forming

Interpret CAD drawings and technical specifications to produce high-quality components

Perform complex welding and joining operations across various materials

Maintain quality control standards throughout the fabrication process

Identify and troubleshoot issues during the production cycle

Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimise manufacturing processes

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Required Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in fabrication and boilermaking

Demonstrated experience with CNC machinery operation and programming

Proven ability to interpret complex CAD drawings and technical specifications

Strong welding skills across multiple processes (MIG, TIG, Stick)

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Desirable Qualifications

Trade qualification in Fabrication, Boilermaking, or related field (potential for an experienced 3-4th year)

Experience with specialized materials (stainless steel, aluminum, exotic alloys)

Knowledge of quality assurance systems and procedures

Understanding of lean manufacturing principles

Experience with preventative equipment maintenance
