As a Tree Labourer with a Medium Rigid (MR) licence , you'll be an integral part of the dynamic Open Space teams operating in Melbourne. Our client is a company with clear purpose and mission, shaping liveable cities by delivering the full scope of open space, civil infrastructure and environmental services to government and private enterprise.

We have immediate requirements for Experienced Tree Workers/MR Tree Labourers and Tree Planters/Waterers in a casual capacity (fulltime hours) with a view to permanency.

These positions require you to work within a highly experienced Arboriculture team, undertaking programmed maintenance and tree management or Tree planting & Watering based at their Kilsyth depot.

Core responsibilities (role dependant)

Perform tree maintenance/removal using both hand tools and chainsaws.

Pruning trees from both the ground and aerially (using an EWP if licenced).

MR Truck driving

Tree Watering

Tree Planting

Groundwork maintenance-Stump grinding, weed management, mulching etc

Chipper Operation

Chainsaw maintenance and pre-operational checks of all equipment

Skills and experience

MR/HR licence, highly desirable

Chainsaw licence- highly regarded

A desire to work in the outdoors

Excellent physical fitness and stamina to handle the physical demands of the role

A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt

Strong commitment to following all health and safety protocols and procedures

Current Victorian Drivers Licence
