Description

• Design, develop, test, and implement Java-based applications to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions.
• Develop Java applications that integrate with different platforms
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance through best practices and reviews.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed applications.
• Document technical specifications and development processes.
• Contribute to system architecture and design improvements.
• Assist in integrating third-party tools and APIs as required.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies relevant to the public sector.

Profile

A successful Senior Java Developer should have:

• Java 1.7 to LTS
• Angular, React, Spring Boot and Node JS
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
• Web Services (REST/SOAP)
• MS SQL Server & Azure Application Development

• Technical experience in:
• Experience in designing and implementing software solutions.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging complex applications.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and performance optimisation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience working in or with the public sector is advantageous.
