Now we’re looking for a hands-on Leading Hand / Field Services Technician to join our Laverton North branch and help drive our service excellence even further.

What You’ll Do

You’ll get the best of both worlds - a mix of workshop leadership and on-site action:

Lead the way – Support the Service Manager with daily workshop coordination and mentoring apprentices.

Get your hands dirty – Carry out servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on our modern fleet — in the yard and out in the field.

Keep us ready to roll – Make sure every machine leaves the yard clean, fuelled, and ready for hire.

Solve and support – Respond to breakdowns quickly, troubleshoot issues, and get clients back on track fast.

Set the standard – Drive safety, organisation, and teamwork in everything you do.

What You Bring

Trade-qualified Diesel or Plant Mechanic (or similar)

3–5+ years’ experience in plant or mobile equipment servicing

A knack for leading people, you enjoy helping others develop and take pride in their work

Great mechanical knowledge across diesel, electrical and hydraulic systems

Problem-solving skills that keep you calm under pressure

Experience with hire management systems (Syrinx preferred)

Licences: Driver’s, White Card, Forklift, Working at Heights, and ideally HRW / EWP
