Salisbury Heights OSHC Service

Casual position located at Salisbury Heights Primary School. Minimum hours per week: 5, with additional hours offered on a weekly basis relative to our operational needs and your availability. Additional hours will also be offered during school holiday periods. Hours are 6:30am to 8:45am for morning sessions and 2:30pm 5:30pm for Afternoon sessions and varied during Vacation Care periods.

*Please note our service has opted in to the Worker Retention Payment and the base wage rate attached to this add will be increased by an additional 10% up to November 30th 2025, and a further 5% from December 1st 2025 to November 30th 2026.

Join a dedicated, dynamic team of OSHC Educators, working within a supportive school environment to provide a caring and engaging learning environment for our children. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person who can communicate effectively to be an active leader. Working with a team to provide high quality care, and to plan and implement valuable learning experiences for children in our service.

The position also requires the successful applicant to be at times in ‘Day to Day Charge’ of the service, though will report to the Director and Assistant Director. Training will be provided prior to Responsible Person in Charge duties commencing; and full ongoing support from the Director is available at all times.

Preferred qualifications include: Diploma in Children’s Services, Early Childhood Education and Care Diploma, or holds a Teacher Registration with accreditation in Australia and a Primary or Secondary teaching Qualification, or a two year completion of a teaching degree in a Primary or Secondary teaching qualification.
