About the role:
The Clinical Nurse performs at an advanced level of cancer and specialist palliative care nursing practice and supports the delivery of competent, best practice, quality nursing care. The position plays an important role in guiding and supporting other nursing staff and working in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager and other members of the multidisciplinary team in the management and development of clinical services.
This role offers the opportunity and support for continued acquiring of skills and education. The Nurse in this position works closely with the consultants of the service and relies on support from the Nurse Unit Manager.

- The ability to work autonomously is vital.
- Meticulous documentation is essential and following process and policies is essential.
- The successful applicant may also be required to provides clinical support in the Day Therapy Unit.
About you:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position.
- Anti-cancer drug administration course (ADAC) Qualifications.
While not mandatory, post Graduate Diploma (or working towards) in Cancer Care is highly desirable.
- Experience in a clinic environment is highly desirable.
- Cancer Care clinical experience is highly desirable.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $65,949 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
