Capital Design Works delivers premium gaming environments for clubs, pubs and casinos across Australia—custom gaming products and bespoke joinery. We’re a tight, capable team that takes projects from concept to manufacture.

The role
You’ll turn concepts and our product library into clear client approval packs and factory‑ready construction & assembly drawings. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Sales, Operations and the factory, owning drawings end‑to‑end.

What you’ll do

Model and document joinery in AutoCAD (3D) with clean, readable sheet layouts.

Produce client approval drawings (isometrics, sections, exploded views) with excellent visual communication.

Generate factory construction and assembly drawings to tight tolerances.

Manage drawing sets using AutoCAD Sheet Set Manager (SSM)—page setup, call‑outs, fields and publishing.

Maintain standards—layers, xrefs, blocks, naming conventions—so packages are consistent and production‑ready.

Liaise with PMs and the workshop to resolve RFIs and buildability details.

What you’ll bring

Strong 3D AutoCAD skills and proven drafting fundamentals: xrefs, UCS, viewports, dynamic/parametric blocks, dimensioning/annotation.

Demonstrated ability to present designs clearly—you care how a sheet reads.

Experience in joinery/cabinetry/shopfitting or similar manufacturing environments.

Practical understanding of materials and construction (board products, laminates/veneers, metal trims, fixings).

Solid time management—able to handle multiple projects without dropping standards.

Full Australian work rights.
