About the Group
This group are one of Australia's leading commercial builders and are known for delivering commercial office, apartment and retail projects up to $300 mil. The company partners closely with established private and listed property groups and have delivered some of Melbourne's most iconic projects over the last 20 years. They are looking for a Finishes Foreman for a $150 mil, 2 tower project in the inner city.

Roles & Responsibilities

Finishes Foreman on a luxury Apartment project

• Management of all Finishing elements including coordination of secondary subcontractors
• Ideally have Tier 1/2 experience
• Scheduling weekly work programs
• Providing clear leadership and direction to the site team
• Attending and contributing to weekly site management meetings.
• Ensuring the safety of all personnel on site, including holding regular toolbox meetings and a solid understanding of OH&S processes.

About You

• Trade qualified
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the construction industry
• Proven track record delivering projects for a head contractor is a must
• Demonstrated experience in subcontractor management, site supervision and an understanding of safety systems
• Ability to lead and push the job forward to ensure the completion of the project is on time and on budget
• Reliable, hardworking, strong work ethic and an ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills along with the ability to build good working relationships with subcontractors and trades.
