St Mary's Aged Care is looking for an Allied Health Assistant t to help with our strengthening and mobility program, four days a week plus relief.

The position includes the following duties:

• Assist in providing supervision of prescribed activities with Residents both individually and in groups.
• Assist with Resident transfers and mobility
• Focused on supporting our residents you will be instrumental in promoting their independence, by improving aspects of their daily living.
• Assist in organising of therapy equipment for exercise based sessions.

Suitable Attributes

• Applicants need to be an excellent communicator with both Residents and other members of the care team.
• Be enthusiastic and have an encouraging and caring disposition.
• Show attention to detail in following and carrying out physiotherapy led direction.
• Cert IV Allied Health Assistant is recommended for this role
• 12 months experience preferred, references essential..
