About this role
Due to rapid growth and more equipment arriving OBrienco Transport is seeking experienced Interstate MC Operators to join our dynamic team, with one starting immediately and two more starting in the new year. As an Interstate MC Driver, you will play a crucial role in servicing our customers around Australia with a focus around Quality and Safety. This is a full-time position, with our depot based on the West side of Toowoomba.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating heavy vehicles, including semi-trailers and B-doubles, to transport general goods across multiple industries and in all states and territories.

Ensuring equipment is kept clean and in good condition ensuring OBrienco's Brand image is kept at a high standard.

Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies to uphold our focus of Safety & Quality.

Conducting pre-trip inspections and ensuring the proper maintenance of your assigned vehicle in accordance with NHVR & WAHVA.

Providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and colleagues.

Maintaining detailed logs and records of your driving activities; logbooks, timesheets, connotes etc.

Collaborating with the logistics team to optimise delivery schedules, routes and Growth.

What we're looking for

A valid MC driver's licence with a clean driving history

Experience (at least 2 years) driving interstate MC and HC vehicles

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Understanding of CoR, NHVR & WAHVA requirements and processes

The ability to access connotes via Email, Text message and Driver App.
