About the role
As Manager, Public Relations, you'll lead NWHHS communication and engagement strategies, ensuring meaningful connections between health services and the community. In this role, you will:
- Provide strategic advice to the Board and Executive on communication and consumer engagement.
- Lead delivery of the NWHHS Consumer Engagement Plan and Partnering with Consumers Standard.
- Manage media relations, internal communications, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Develop consistent messaging aligned with NWHHS strategic goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
- Coach and support staff to deliver high-quality, inclusive communication services.
Requirements
- Whilst not mandatory a relevant tertiary qualification such as Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or Media will be well regarded.
- Experience in a health-based environment would be desirable.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Hep B/A and Tuberculosis.
