We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Machine Operators to join the Granite Belt Earthworks team. This is a casual position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role

You’ll be operating a range of machinery across our earthworks and construction projects, including excavators, pozi tracks, bobcats and tippers. The role involves site preparation, trenching, bulk earthworks and general civil works.

Key Responsibilities

Operate excavator, bobcat and associated plant safely and efficiently

Undertake general site works as directed

Perform basic machine maintenance and daily checks

Follow site instructions, project specifications and safety protocols

Work both independently and as part of a hands-on team

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

Current Excavator Ticket

Current Bobcat (Skid Steer) Ticket

Current HR Licence

Current Roller Ticket (desirable)

Current Loader Ticket (desirable)

Proven experience in civil or earthworks operations

Strong understanding of workplace and site safety practices

Excellent communication skills

Reliable, punctual and able to work unsupervised
