About the role

We are seeking a passionate Construction Hire and Sales, Yardperson to join our logistics team at Access Engineering Group in South Guildford, WA. This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and growing construction services company.

What you'll be doing

Assisting customers with the selection, dispatch and return of hired construction equipment and materials

Maintaining the organisation and tidiness of the yard and storage areas

Loading and unloading delivery vehicles

Performing general yard duties, including stock takes and inventory management

Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external client

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a construction or trade-related yard environment

Minimum 1-2 years of construction or trade-related yard experience required

Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide helpful and friendly assistance

Good communication, numeracy, literacy and interpersonal skills

A strong focus on working safely

Current WA Drivers Licence

Current HRWL Forklift Licence is required

Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately

A positive, can-do attitude and a collaborative team player

Good record keeping skills to check equipment being dispatched and returned.

Valid Australian work visa or work rights required
