Successful local family-owned and operated vehicle rental business looking for an experienced bookkeeper wishing to join a friendly and close-knit team and work in a dynamic work environment. The successful candidate will be a capable professional who has excellent attention to detail, fantastic communication skills, a “can-do” down-to earth attitude and of course, be a great team player. This role is full-time and office-based with flexible hours available for the right candidate, along with a very competitive salary.
Key roles and responsibilities include:
Invoicing customers on weekly, fortnightly and monthly cycles
Accounts payable
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Dealing with customers and suppliers
Management of expenses
Assisting with budgeting, cashflow and financial management
Preparing pay runs including the use of ABA files
Experience with using accounting software Xero (or similar) is essential.
