Skills and experience Required
Trade qualification in cabinetmaking or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
Proven experience in the design, implementation, operation and training on a range of technologies
Demonstrated experience of "hands on" projects
Experience following a design process
Experience in understanding and operating high-end Timber Board Storage Systems, CNC, Edgebanding, Cutting and drilling technologies would be an advantage
Job Role
Understand all aspects of commercial joinery and manufacturing procedures
Ensure high standards are achieved
Assemble cabinetry Joinery components
Use a range of hand tools
Be responsible for producing quality product
Run Parts on CNC.
Complete Construction / setup ready for install.
Read construction drawings / problem solve.
Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
Key Incumbent requirements:
Ideally you have worked in the manufacturing industry
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in cabinetmaking/joinery
3 years+ experience as a qualified joiner/cabinetmaker (Cert III or equivalent)
A recognised problem solver, with a track record of success using a structured approach
Experienced with design, manufacturing / business process development
Good communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
A history of taking accountability for objectives and their outcomes
A responsible attitude to working safely and building the safety culture.
A commitment to lifelong learning and development.
Remuneration
$77,000 excluding superannuation - Depending on your qualification and relevant experience
