About the role

• Sorting freight
• Safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries at the facility
• Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
• Driving our MR trucks or Vans between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups
• Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups

About you

You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.

If you are a truck driver, a courier driver, a delivery driver or you are physically fit and just want to get into the transport industry, this job is for you.

You’ll also need to

• Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Hold a medium rigid vehicle license
• You can drive manual transmission trucks
• Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck.
• Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility
• Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills
• You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less
• Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
