As we continue to expand, Home is Best requires reliable Personal Care Workers for Weekday and Weekend Work. We are a 24/7 care provider; carer flexibility to be able to work weekday hours as well as some afternoons, nights and weekends on a rotational basis is essential.

Certificate III Individual Support or equivalent is required for this role.

As a committed member of our aged care team, you will be providing assistance to individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, eating, mobility and medication reminders, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence within their own homes.

An essential part of your role will be maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation including shift notes, incident reports, and observations, as per Australian Health standards and Home is Best Policies and procedures, as well as effectively communicating with Clients, their families, and the admin and care teams providing updates, report concerns, and ensure continuity of care.

Responsibilities also include light housekeeping tasks, companionship, transport and social support depending on the client's needs.

Community Care workers must have current 1st Aid and CPR, reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance, registration, open licence and current National Police Check.

We are a 24/7 service provider. Flexible rosters with weekend work are available. You must have the flexibility to work mornings and afternoons and rotational weekend hours.
