We’re experiencing strong growth and increasing demand from our clients — and are now looking for a motivated and skilled Accountant to join our high-performing team. This is a unique opportunity to work directly alongside the business owner and manager in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role

This full-time position is ideal for someone looking to advance their career in public practice with direct exposure to both HNW and SME clients. You will be responsible for preparing tax returns, financial statements, BAS, and providing advisory support. You’ll also be expected to manage client relationships, perform general ATO/ASIC tasks, and assist with internal reporting.

Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare tax returns (individual, company, trust, FBT, SMSF)

Prepare financial statements and management reports

Manage Accounts payable and make payments

Lodge BAS, IAS, and other ATO/OSR requirements

Handle ASIC and ABR administration

Liaise with clients on queries, updates, and compliance matters

Support the owner and senior accountants with special projects

Assist with internal analysis and business reporting

Skills & Experience

Degree in Accounting or relevant discipline (required)

Completed or working towards CA/CPA/MIPA

Strong experience with Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks Online (QBO)

Advanced Excel skills

At least 2+ years experience in a public practice environment

Strong understanding of Australian tax compliance

Excellent communication and time management skills
