A reliable , intelligent , scrap yard worker

A person , that can float between scrap yard duties but more essentially has some automotive repair leanings .

Full training will be provided . We seek intelligent , thinking people , that have the sense of responsibility to work as a part of small team and autonomously as required . This is a full time position , but part time will be a consideration for persons able to demonstrate the required productivity to meet our demands on the automotive side .

Suitable applicants may well include travellers and or FiFo workers on an off swing , semi retirees , another trade or occupation , or maybe desk bound seeking a taste of hands on . Be aware , it can be dirty work at times depending on the role and also provide challenges in terms of weather extremities. Intellectual mitigation and teamwork are the keys

Intelligence and integrity have provided the right starting blocks , in what can be challenging ( it is a scrap yard after all ) but rewarding conditions . We seek those two attributes primarily as previous success and long standing relationships have emulated from those foundations .

There are some obvious intrinsic inclusions in not seeking people already entrenched in this line of work , but we don’t discount those possibilities .

A scrap yard , includes the patently obvious components and machinery . Yes it could be favourable for the yard positions if you have some experience with trucks , forklifts , excavators , oxy cutting , and the like , but our primary prerequisites stand ( intelligence and integrity ).

On the Automotive side we don’t discourage experience , but our needs are not beyond some intellect , apptitude with tools and the ability to effectively research tasks on the web .

We have had many staff some now for over 20 yrs and counting plus smaller contributions in terms of time spent here , but the relationships and memories continue infinitely when the fit is productive at both ends .
