As a Palletiser Operator in the aluminium can manufacturing industry, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the machinery that stacks and organizes finished aluminium cans onto pallets for storage or shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate an automated palletising machine that stacks cans in a precise configuration
• Make minor adjustments or settings to ensure proper operation
• Ensure that only high-quality products are being palletised and packaged
• Monitor the stacking patterns and ensure loads are stable and secure
• Identify and fix minor mechanical issues (e.g. misfeeds, jams, misalignments)
• Escalate major problems to maintenance or engineering teams
• Follow safety protocols around heavy machinery
• Keep the work area clean and free of debris
• Report any quality or operational issues to supervisors
• Wear appropriate PPE

Skills and Qualifications

• Full Australian work rights required
• Previous machine operating experience within the manufacturing or printing industries
• WA High Risk Forklift (LF) Licence
• Availability to work across 24-hour shift patterns
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Computer literacy
• Problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Awareness of quality standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive environment
