Workforce Extensions Footscray, our valued client is seeking a professional and quality focused Warehouse Articulated Forklift Operator to join their growing team in Minto.

The Opportunity:
This exciting opportunity will start on dayshift working in the Minto area, Monday - Friday - 7.00am - 7.00pm, for a highly motivated Warehouse Articulated Forklift Operator, to become part of the team. The casual pay rate will be $33.78ph + Penalties+ Super, Temp to permanent opportunity for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and Unloading: Operate forklifts to load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and warehouse storage.
• Order Dispatch: Ensure orders are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched to meet delivery schedules.
• Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, including checking goods against dispatch orders and invoices.
• Quality Checks: Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies during handling and ensure proper documentation.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff and drivers to streamline dispatch operations.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and ensure forklifts are operated in a safe and efficient manner.
• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine checks on forklifts and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of goods dispatched, including delivery dockets and manifests.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Articulated forklift operator, ideally in a dispatch or logistics environment.
• Valid forklift license (Articulated experience preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift items up to [insert weight, e.g., 20kg].
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation.
• Knowledge of dispatch procedures and inventory systems is an advantage.
